Babysitter pleads not guilty to burglary in Santa Cruz County

SAN JOSE, Calif. — An 18-year-old man was arrested after allegedly taking a group of strangers to a remote area of the Pacific Northwest in a brazen act of revenge for bullying, authorities said Thursday.

The boy, a college student from Oregon, is accused of attempting to commit theft by entering the area where he knew there were homes in the area, along Highway 1806, north of the town of Santa Cruz.

The boy, wearing only his underwear, then removed an electronic device from his backpack that contained a GPS device that he used to drive the vehicle to the house where he was arrested, Santa Cruz sheriff’s officials said.

Authorities say the teen is the driver in a recent theft at a home about 20 miles away, with witnesses reporting hearing a commotion as he allegedly pulled his white SUV into the area. Police say he then walked to the house and천안 출장 안마 removed three large black cans of Budweiser beer, two small cans of Mountain Dew, and eight empty cans of Nutella from the fridge, but no cans of soda.

Authorities have described the suspect as young and wearing a blue t-shirt with a blue bandana. He walked into a small grocery store in the area where he was arrested with the intention of stealing something.

After taking off in Arguello’s black SUV, authorities say he was driving north and was caught a few miles away with four people.

In one case, police say the boy then used a cellphone to make calls to his parents and his friend to try to lure them away from the house.

The teen allegedly drove around the area trying to convince people to drive by, where he also allegedly assaulted one of the victims.

Arguello is charged with attempted criminal sexual conduct, aggravated assault of a child or other crimes involving serious bodily injury and several of the counts of attempted robbery and a felony firearm.

A Santa Cruz police officer interviewed him after he exited the SUV, where h
